Yeah. No horses, but lots of space. There's frogs, sometimes. C'mon in.
[She waves him into the tent. It is lined with sheepskin rugs and small tassel pillows, as well as a large squarish thing nestled between two attached glass display cases; a few of Nemesis's nicer-looking fanmail, as well as most of her gifts are packed inside.
In the center is a firepit with a spit above it for Old-Style Cooking™, not too far away from a minifridge that appears to be made of several swords melted together.
Particularly bright lighting is provided by the strings of paper lanterns that criss-cross the ceiling of the tent. Alternatively, one can pull a string located near the bed which will open a section of the tent's top up to the outside, allowing sunlight in. Or, at night, a view of lazily drifting fireflies, and the sound of frogs from the outside.
She walks over to the firepit and sits, inviting him to do the same.]
[He takes the chu-hi, in hopes that the alcohol will help cut down on the fact that his wrists really hurt, actually - goes to open it, and winces, and just. Sets it down, instead.]
When do you get frogs? When it rains or something?
[Waggles her left hand, which already feels odd staying attached for so long.]
Can I...?
[Though she doesn’t really wait for permission to bare his arms, carefully laying them straight. And digging a little further in the fridge, she pulls out some ice packs; thinks some more and stands, hunting through the cabinets]
You should put ’em in slings so you rest them for once...
[Under the bracers, his wrists are badly swollen; the usual gentle taper is missing entirely, leaving them looking more like sausages than arms, and they are decidedly at the wrong angle. It is no surprise that getting the bracers on over that was a challenge.]
You could take care of yourself for once, I know it's a crazy idea.
[Comes back with a roll of compression bandages and a couple bottles--remembers she's gotta open them rather than just toss them at his face. Sits on her knees in front of him and taps out two asprin, holding them out for him to take]
...I'm just gonna shove these in your mouth, okay? You been using your hands too much.
[Shrugs, ulcers or liver failure are the least of their problems]
When something hurts, that's what drugs are for. ...These are the strongest meds I got, but... If it still hurts later, we can look around for something else.
[And she holds up the pills up so he can nibble them from her hand; cracks open the chu-hi to wash them down]
[Hums acknowledgement and offers him the can--let's say she got a straw since there was time to prepare, and still she can lift it, at least enough so he doesn't have to dry-swallow. The issue here is clear, she is not going to leave him in the lurch,]
[At any rate, that being done she takes one hand in hers, and rubs in some pain relief cream, careful since even that little touch is likely terribly painful. She can wrap it after that]
[He leans forward to swallow some of the chu-hi down, too - winces as she rubs the pain cream on, and then braces himself, trying to stay still so she can wrap them.]
[The wrapping is firm, but not overly so; around the wrist and up the palm, around the thumb, sense memory from some long-ago first aid course. When one is done, she places the cold pack onto it, then repeats the process for the other hand.]
Maybe just lying down'll be easiest to keep stuff in place...

Ain't quite the same's the fort, but it'll do.
Re: [Day 196, some time after the live]
Dude... this is real cool.
How's this even inside?
Re: [Day 196, some time after the live]
[And then she looks away, looks over to the sword-fridge and offers him his choice of chu-hi or tea]
...It sounds like outside, so it's nice.
Re: [Day 196, some time after the live]

Re: [Day 196, some time after the live]
Mostly you just hear 'em singing at night. Feels familiar. Sometimes there's fireflies, too. You wanna ice 'em?
Re: [Day 196, some time after the live]
[Hesitates at that offer, then nods.]
If you got some hanging around anyway?
And, uh. If you don't mind helping me get em back in the bracers, after. It's kinda rough.

[Because he was using them too much and they are really hurting,,,]
But... yeah, sure.
