Considering the whole unit went grey, that's something hard to get by Future is Now.

I thought they just wandered around watching and eating popcorn... I didn't know they could do nothing to you.

Oh they can control aspects of the dream like lucid dreaming. Yvette and I went nightmare diving on someone once to see if we could untangle that mess.

A choice as in we picked the BARiTONES that was most comfortable with? Yes.

As for how much he and I were able to affect the dream -- still only minimal success on that front. Though Yvette disarmed most of the traps.

It shifted the nightmare into something else. I don't know if it turned out for better or for worse.
