[ bruises, sure, there's plenty, but they're all normal. All the scratches seem to be concentrated around where she had skin showing; head, face, arms, hands, wings, now more or less having stopped bleeding entirely.

[A little anxious, still, but only carefully peels off her tattered outfit, dumping it into the hamper instead of the trash for some reason. There's still faint bruising over her ribs and her back is all scabs and scrapes, and a dark film flaking from the places that hadn't been covered in clothes. there's a thick seam just left of the center of her chest. But everything seems old--healed enough, if not cleaned, so]

Well... I'm gonna rinse off first; I'm too gross for the tub. You mind?

[ that's immediately noticeable and eye-catching enough though that she pauses, and reaches out, to run her fingers over that seam, frowning. ]

[her breath hitches at the contact, just enough to cause a coughing fit. she turns away, towards the shower, since otherwise would be gross, and the seam is apparent there, too, just a little shorter. if Req were to look closely enough, she might notice that it isn't just a scar--rather than a ridge of freshly knitted skin, it's a crevice, shiny scar tissue disappearing into the hole from both sides]

[ ... no, touching the back of her shoulder with a worried look. ]

You got some new junk too, huh?

[Looks down, only now noticing what Req's looking at; grimaces]

...Guess it didn't heal that neat. Dragon kicked my ass.

[ gently slides her hand down again to brush her fingers over the portion of it on her back. ]

... geez. Kitty, I'm sorry-- if I was there maybe I could have...

[Shivers again; there's a definite divot where the two sides meet, and it is apparently sensitive]

N-nah, it's fine. --We all got pretty trashed. Better you missed out on that part.

[ lets her go, but sits on the edge of the tub to patiently wait; she'd help, if she weren't still gross herself, so maybe separate cleaning is best for now...

she's got no qualms about watching tho. ]

[with that, she hops into the shower, tipping her head forward to start rinsing out the grossness. she takes a moment to just enjoy the spray against tired muscles before just scrubbing away]

[ can't resist reaching out to touch anyway, though, smoothing her fingers over the bumps of nem's spine. ]

[Squirms a little into her touch, the lightning scars down her back pulsing a pleasant indigo]

Though you wanted to wait 'til you were clean..

[ grins at the colors, though, tracing the edges of the scars-- with a pang of hurt she's grateful nem can't see make her wince-- before pulling back, finger ghosting over the small of her back for a second or so. ]

[The color goes deeper and warmer, and she shivers, even in the heat of the water]

[She gives herself a cursory wipedown before scooting out of the water so Req can go; definitely not squeaky clean but not actively grody]

Oooh, so sorry, I'll do better next time.

[ pleased, but lets her finish, before standing so she can get under the water and start gently, carefully wiping the grit and dust and blood off of her wounds. ]

[watches from as far away as she can see (which isn't very, but), checking for any spots she seems to give extra attention or avoids]
