[ with a wry smile, as she floats in and immediately goes to bump her head against nem's. ]

I'm okay. Are you...?

[bumps back, pressing in warm]

I'm good. Better now that I saw you.

[ hums contentedly, nuzzling at her cheek, even with the smear of gold it leaves on her skin. ]

Good.

Y'know, day 200 is comin' up real quick.

Day 200...

[she looks blank for a moment before looking back up, surprised]

Wait—that’s it? Seems like it’s been longer...

[ amused, wings ruffling ]

Really? Last anniversary feels like it was yesterday.

All time here feels like forever.

...Don't got a problem when it's anniversary time, at least. What d'you wanna do? Uh, assuming you wanna do something...

I always wanna do stuff with you, anni or not.

[ nudges her cheek, but floats over to sit on the edge of her bed. ]

I don't got any plans yet though... got any ideas?

[follows, perching beside her]

Mm... Well, if you wanted to do some night camping, like at the beach or the forest or the onsen...? Or...we could go the opposite feel, and do something fancy? Like...what're you thinking?

I set up a whole bunch of junk last time, so-- you can pick anything you want. For reals.

[Considers, then nods]

Let's check out Mt. Takao, then. It's just at the end of the train line; super easy hike. ...Should be plenty secluded, too.

[ leans in to nuzzle her cheek, warmly ]

Just you and me, all alone...

[Curls in a little closer, pressing gold against her skin]

Can have a campfire, look at the stars, and...

[She presses a kiss to Req's jaw, soft]

[ reaches up to cup her cheeks, tilting her head to kiss her lips. ]

... and?

[Nem's cheeks are warm, and she leans up to meet her, greedy for the contact]

Mm... We'll think of something...

[Her hands snake around Req's back, tracing xes and os against her skin]

Couldn't possibly think of anything to do alone, together.

[ hums against her lips, shivery under that touch, and draws her closer as she leans back atop the bed. ]

[Nemesis follows, crawling up a bit to better settle against her. her fingers continue to wisp over Req's back, even caught as they are between her body and the covers]

Can enjoy nature. And doing natural things.

Love natural things for sure.

[ arches a little under her touch, gently smoothing her hands over Nem's sides and shifting lightly until she's comfortably in her lap. ]

[wriggles easily into place; possibly more than strictly necessary in fact]

Naturally.

[She leans in again, gentle, leaving a trail of golden kisses from the corner of Req's mouth to the tip of her ear]

[ gives a little laugh, shivering, her head tilting to give nem more room with a satisfied hum. ]

[mouths over the shell of her ear, careful over the ridges and less careful where her ear meets her jaw, teasing at the soft skin with the tip of her tongue. But before long she starts a leisurely path back, over Req’s temple and the arch of her brow and the tip of her nose before brushing gently back over her lips]

[ her eyes close and she patiently waits as nem slowly makes her way back, her own thumbs rubbing slow circles over her hips. The act leaves almost the entire half of her face dusted in gold, and she presses up to meet her lips with a satisfied hum. ]

[this is apparently a far from unacceptable outcome, from the warmth of Nem’s kiss and the pleased swirls of her fingers up and around the base of Req’s wings. Even as she attempts to keep the kisses more or less light, Nemesis can’t keep from pressing more bodily into Requiem, as if simply pleased to feel the give of her wherever their bodies meet]

[ and she's just as happy to feel the weight of her above her, her hands pressing up under nem's shirts to feel the curve of her muscles and the press of softer places; she tilts her head to press light kisses against nem's jawline, murmuring. ]

... sorry I ain't been around as much lately, baby. You've been okay...?

[she shivers greedily into the touches, skin hot against Req’s hands and mouth. Her own hands continue to smooth from shoulder blade to hip and back in long, mismatched strokes, and she nuzzles lightly against Req’s other cheek]

Mm... I know there’s a lot, lately. If you’re good, I’m good.
