[Nemesis is waiting in the appropriate spot at the appropriate time, hair tamed and carrying a small bouquet--long stems of bluebells, lily of the valley, sunflowers, carnations, and a pink rose, tied with a tyrian and navy ribbon. She rocks back on her heels as she waits, the anticipatory type of nervous, but straightens as Requiem approaches]

Nah, we're just headin' upstairs. Picked up the key card earlier.

[ pulls it out of her discarded pants pocket and wags it at her, but gathers the stuff under her arm and holds the door open so nem can go through. ]

[Goes, waiting for Req to lead her to the next location]

Feels like some kinda spy flick...

Not THAT exciting, unfortch.

[ leads her to the elevator and up a few floors, tapping the key card on a door a handful of rooms down.

The room opens up into what looks like a little ticket counter, with a mini popcorn machine and drink station. And beyond the wall just behind it is a miniature theater, one wall fully a screen, but lacking rows and rows of audience: the whole far side (excepting the small door to the bathroom of course) is taken up by a large bed, all black and red with a tablet on the side table waiting for movie input. ]

[Walks in to look around...ooh, popcorn]

You wanna watch a movie?

Figured it'd be a nice place to wind down after everything else.

[ goes to set their things near the bed, fluffing up the blankets and pillows. ]

Wanna make some popcorn?

[Smiles, dropping her stuff as well and leaning into Req, mostly because she's there]

Yeah... Definitely better than balancing a phone on your knee or something.

You bring your food coloring?

Yeah, some of it.

[ digs into her bag and tags out a little dropper bottle, wagging it. ]

I'll make the stuff-- you get comfy. Pick a movie.

[leans in again, then goes up towards the tablet to skim through the movie choices]

You got any preferences? No romcoms, giant monsters only or whatever?

Pfft. Kissy movies are totes lame.

[ leans down to kiss her hair before she moves away, before heading over to the popcorn machine. ]

Pick whatever you like, though!

I'm gonna talk shit through it the entire time either way, so...

[Starts poking through for something adequately ridiculous and low-budget to heckle]

You keep up with Hell cinema?

Nope. Think the last time I watched a movie was with you, anyway.

Maybe pick something that's not gonna get weird if you start getting handsy again though.

[ grins, dripping some of the food coloring into the popping basin-- and hovering near the machine until the corn gets going, gathering it into a bowl as it finishes. ]

[ laughs and carries over the popcorn, dropping it in her lap to ruffle her hair a little with both hands. ]

[ Immediately cups her cheeks and presses in to kiss those fishlips with an exaggerated noise. ]

[Smooches back, going for volume over anything, though she places her hands over Req's]

[ laughs against her lips, but pulls back to press a gentler, quieter kiss to her forehead, before letting her go and floating into bed. ]

[leans over, nosing into her]

[ Lifts up the blankets and opens her arm to let nem scooch in, settling comfortably against her. ]

[tucks up beside her, legs crossed, then presses play. the opening credits to Megashark vs. Sharktopus Rex splash across the screen.]
