[She leans (definitely does not stagger) back a step--eventually hitches him up to where she can get her arms under his thighs and he can get his leg around her waist and she can brace him from beneath without anyone falling over, her hands linked into a makeshift seat. A beat, then she takes a few tentative steps to see if he's secure; when she turns to check his expression her nose bumps into his cheek instead]
[She squeezes her grip, making sure he's secure, before taking the next step, the one that takes them from up to sideways in a stomach-lurching instant. The step that follows staggers a bit, and she leans into him, pressing upward--forward--steadies out before they're high enough to worry about the fall back down.
After that, trudging up the bridge footing is pretty simple to do. Her hands stay looped under his rear to support him, though by this point he's mostly held up by her and the core training she'd added into her routine a couple months ago. She's ditched her jacket before starting out and she is warm through the thin fabric of her dress shirt]
[It's a ways away by now; farther back down than they have left to the top. Her steps are steady as they continue up, the bike and his leg getting smaller and smaller]
Don't tell me you're planning on walking the rest of the way yourself.
[Her voice is a little wheezy by now, but they are almost there anyway, so nothing to worry about...
When they do make it to the top, she kneels down at the dropoff, and carefully lays him back until regular gravity kicks back in and he's set safely on top of the tower. Then she kind of does a front roll after him, another lurch of what-way-is-up before ending seated atop the tower, braced back on her hands]
Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game
[She watches him, curious, then offers him a hand]
Carrying you in front'd be a little more secure, considering... 'Less you think it's a little too personal.
Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game
Hey, whatever's easier.
...you sure you don't mind hauling me up?
Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game
[She three-legged races over a couple more steps before turning to face him]
...Okay. I guess--jump up?
Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game
Like this...?

Okay?
Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game
[He flushes darker, perhaps at the situation, or perhaps at the unexpected intimacy of the position]
Are, uh. Are you?
Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game
...Yeah, this should work.
[Another smile, and she steps out to the ground--takes another step up, to the side of the bridge footings]
Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game
You need me to do something just say, okay?

Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game
You really having been working out.
Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game
[They keep walking, her steps slow but steady, and the ground slooowly falls away behind them]
...Plus. Wanted to do a better job if we ever did this again.
Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game
[From here, it's easy to press a kiss to her chin, so he does]
Kinda knocking it out of the park this time, though.
Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game
Oh, so I'm almost keeping up with you on a regular day?
This's at least one thing I can do better'n you can--so far.
Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game
Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game
[Her shrug is brief, more of a squeeze around him than anything]
Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game
[He squeezes back, because honestly, why wouldn't he want to]
I ain't too heavy, am I?
Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game
Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game
[Peeking over her shoulder at the ground,]
Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game

We should be on time, anyways.
Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game
Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game
[She squeezes again]
Be ready for dinner once we're there, for sure.
Re: Day 357 - Tinder Game
You doing okay?

...Still here?
