[It would be rude to ignore such an invitation, so she doesn't. She keeps the kisses gentle, unhurriedly falling over his neck and ear and face like a spring rain]

[He makes a soft sound of approval, eyes fluttering closed; his fingers stroke through the strands of her hair, careful]

[Encouragement is good. She continues with the peppering of kisses, fingers coming up to wisp at the nape of his neck, softly over his chin and cheeks]

[Another of those quiet sounds; his lips have curved up at the corners, the smile very soft and very, very fond]

[She returns a gentle hum, kissing at both of those raised corners, and then his eyelids, then his nose, sweet as candy. Her hands keep sweeping up over his hair--drop a pile of bubbles at the top of his head, like a unicorn horn]

[He cracks his eyes open again - glances upward - starts to laugh, soft and low]

Oh my god, dude.

[It's shaping up to be more of a crown so far, with larger pillars of bubbles at the corners of his head, and smaller ones filling in the space inbetween]

I bet you'd look dignified with a hat.

[He reaches up to swipe a fignerful and dab it on her nose]

I always said pink bubbles were like totally the height of dignity.
