[Nemesis is waiting in the appropriate spot at the appropriate time, hair tamed and carrying a small bouquet--long stems of bluebells, lily of the valley, sunflowers, carnations, and a pink rose, tied with a tyrian and navy ribbon. She rocks back on her heels as she waits, the anticipatory type of nervous, but straightens as Requiem approaches]

[ sways very slightly, pulling her with her, and humming with a crooked smile. ]

Mmmm, I dunno. You planning on buying any of those goods you're browsing?

[sways along with her, resting her arms gentle at Req's hips and leaning in to press a kiss a few inches below her collarbone]

Gotta say I wouldn't mind taking some home for a test drive.

[ grins, arching slightly into it. ]

I think I can arrange that.

[ pauses ]

Once my wings are dry.

[leans in to kiss her other pec instead]

You need a blow dry?

[ sighs out, light, curling her fingers in the hair at the base of nem's neck. ]

It'd speed things up...

[smooths her hands over Req's hips, pressing a kiss to her sternum, and then the bottom of her rib cage, and then her hipbone, at the waistband of her pants]

letting her drift down, shivering, and. definitely interested in seeing where this is going, but also unable to resist: ]

... thought we were gonna blow dry, not blow job...

[noses into Req's abdomen, giving a quick lap to her navel before standing up straight with a wry smile]

Ah, right, guess this'd be the opposite of getting dry... Honest mistake! C'mon.

[taps at the small of her back, ostensibly towards the bathroom]

[ the muscles twitch a bit under her tongue, but she exhales, smiling a little and grabbing her shirt to trail after Nem. ]

[waits, since she is obviously not trying to leave Req behind.

The bathroom is large and expansive, carrying the traditional Japanese theming into here as well. The tiling is warm to the touch and textured like traditional matting but can stand being wet. A shower and toilet are in separate stalls off to the side; sinks and a long vanity stretch through the main area, with low stools and large mirrors for grooming. Nemesis invites Req to sit, hunting down the blow dryer]

[ helpfully sits, watching her move with a smile. ]

... baby, you're so pretty.

--? Where's that coming from?

[grabs the dryer, straightening up. she is probably going for dry, but looks too obviously fond for it to have any edge to it at all]

You know you don't gotta butter me up or nothing, right? I mean, you're already running at a brownie points surplus.

[leans in to give her a gentle kiss nevertheless]

[ huffs, but sits back, extending her damp wings and fluffing them up a little. ]

[the chuckle is strong in her voice as she circles behind Req, keeping in constant physical contact all the while. She hums, then sets the dryer to low, aiming it not too close to the fluff at the base of her wings; lets that run a while to test the temperature]

Mmm.

[ Leans forward onto her hands, eyes closes, ruffling her feathers every so often to let the air get into the damp spaces-- thankfully, they start to dry pretty quickly. ]

[Nods then, spreading out, slowly letting the cool air wash over the ruffled feathers, aiming for fairly even coverage from the root of her wings up and out to the pinions. If anything looks too clumped together or obviously out of place, she'll reach out to gently right it, but otherwise, keeps her free hand idly stroking at Req's bare shoulder]

[ shifts one hand back to cover the one on her shoulder, loosely entwining their fingers, but mostly just stays still and indulges in the surprisingly nice feeling of having someone settle her feathers. ]

[She is surprisingly gentle at it, perhaps overly careful to keep from hurting her, but it's satisfyingly intimate in the way playing with hair is, so she continues]

[ it's not long before they're suitably dry and soft again, only slightly damp in places you really have to dig through the layers to get into.

req turns her head, slightly, to kiss nem's knuckles. ]

[She shuts off the dryer, but continues to smooth over the feathers, making sure they all seem to be where they should be with an amount of care much higher than she generally spends on herself, so don't worry,]
