[Nudges back, still going for the rich pudding]

[Setting into his own at the standard pace with which he decimates desserts, now that he's sure she likes it]

I'm like super sure. Don't ask me to bake you nothing fancy, cause it's gonna end in tragedy, but this stuff I can do.

This seems tougher than baking to me. I don't got any idea how you'd even make a pudding without a box.

S'cornstarch, mostly. That's what makes it get all thick. The rest's the cream and chocolate.

Don't taste nothing like corn, though...

[Takes another bite to ensure this]

Naw, I think it just like thickens stuff. You put it in sauces, too, and like gravy and stuff.

Huh... If you say so.

[Shrugs]

Dunno how it works, just know that it does.

[Scrapes the last of the pudding with her spoon...and then her finger, no chocolate left behind]

Hey, I'll take pudding magic any day.

[His is long gone, because that's how he rolls,]

I ain't complaining neither.

[Sucks the last bit off her finger before setting the cup down; sits back with a satisfied sigh]

Ahh, that was a meal. Thanks to the chef!

Thanks for hanging out and eating it with me.

[Smiles, cheeks a little dark]

Uh, thanks for making it for me.

Anytime, dude. Pizza next, for sure.

Yeah, should be awesome.

Anyways, uh... that's all I got for dinner.

You still wanna go climb a mushroom?

Yeah, if you're up for it. Work some of this food off.

[Gets to her feet and stretches]

[Leans over to blow out the fire before he joins her]

[All that's left is the ambient glow of the mushrooms, the drifting motes in the air]

C'mon. It's this way.

[Adjusts her scarf before falling in beside him, walking down the path in the semi-darkness]

[The ground gets more uneven, less a gentle stroll and more an actual hike. But there's enough light to see by, and it gets bright as they approach a mushroom a bit off the beaten path, glowing a soft blue]

This is the one.

[He may feel her eyes on him, though she does seem to be keeping her face forward, checking out the path... At any rate, when she sees the mushroom, she takes a minute to scope it out before approaching]

Huh...it's huge. There a specific plan of attack?

You can probly just walk up, honestly. I gotta go around back, though, there's these little toadstools sticking off the side that are pretty good handholds.

Or, I bet I could give you a boost, if you wanted to try from this side. Either way, lead the way.

[Circling around to the back]

[He starts to climb, easy, picing out handholds that are tricky to spot in the dim lighting, as though he's done this before several times]

[Follows, pulling herself up with somewhat more trouble, since no point in getting complacent with powers]
