She rocks back on her heels as she waits, the anticipatory type of nervous, but straightens as Requiem approaches]

[The biggest coaster is in the middle of the park; it's a straight shot past other, lamer rides to something tall, gleaming steel, plenty of loops and stupidly steep hills]

[ she's not making a particular effort to lose Nem at least, but does slow coming under one of the loops, looking up at it in wonder. ]

Dang. That's a big track.

Yep! It's the tallest one here. Kind of a rough ride, but it's fast, for sure.

Wonder if you could take some rollerblades down it with Stability on.

Hell yeah. I mean, one way to find out. It'll be part of the jet coaster ironman course, after climbing up in stiletto heels.

[Through ???science??? the coaster lights up as they approach, a car pulling up to the loading bay as they jump the turnstiles and the railed off lines of people who aren't here since there's barely 100 people in this place... At any rate, seems like perhaps it will just work on its own...?]

When is shopping ever not a challenge to begin with?

It's not like it takes any effort, here. Going to a store and picking junk out would be a novel experience at this point.

[ ... huh... floats herself into one of the chairs and. ?? pulls the bar down?? ]

There's like 500 screens of crappy, blurry little shoes or hand towels or whatever. Who in the hell's supposed to have the patience to pick anything but what shows up on the first page?

[sits beside, tucking her glasses into her collar as an afterthought]

Once everybody's "safely" into the coaster, it'll go.

[indeed, the remaining harnesses begin to shut on their own]
